Implantation bleeding

Implantation bleeding

implantation bleeding vs period bleeding
Period vs implantation bleeding
There are many different signs and symptoms of pregnancy and most of them mimic the imminent arrival of your period. Bleeding, strangely enough, can also be a sign that you are pregnant, and we refer to this as ‘implantation bleeding’. Although implantation bleeding is not that common it is something that many women have concerns about. Implantation bleeding can also confuse the dates your midwife may give you for your estimate birth date, based on the first day of your last menstrual period.

When you do see your midwife they will ask you when your last menstrual period was and also if it was ‘lighter’ than normal. From this they can deduce whether or not this was an implantation bleed and ‘date’ your pregnancy as 4 weeks earlier. This is important when it comes to timing your 12 week or ‘dating’ scan; too late and you may miss the window for some of the screening tests that are offered.

What is implantation?

Once your egg has been fertilised it then has to travel through your fallopian tube, into your womb and burrow into the lining of your womb, or ‘implant’. This stage usually takes around seven days from fertilisation. The rule of thumb is that ovulation occurs around two weeks after the first day of your last period, and fertilisation around 24-36 hours after ovulation.

To confuse things a little more, sperm can survive for up to seven days, so the day that you had intercourse may not be the date you conceived. Sperm can easily wait up to a week in your fallopian tube for the egg, which in contrast will usually only live for 24-36 hours. Your conception date is all to do with when your body released your egg.

As with everything in nature, our bodies never seem to follow the textbook and some of us may well release our eggs days before or after day 14. Without knowing when the egg was released it is difficult to date pregnancies accurately and it’s for this reason that we use your period and their normal length and cycle as the reference for how far along in pregnancy you are.

The graph below shows the passage of time for pregnancy in someone with a 28 day menstrual cycle.

Day 1: 1st day of your period
Day 7 – 15: Intercourse
Day 14: Ovulation
Day 14-15: Fertilisation
Day 21: Implantation (with possible bleeding)
Day 28: Period due positive pregnancy test and 4 weeks pregnant

What's the difference between implantation bleeding and a normal period?

You would usually have expected your period a few days to a week after any implantation bleeding. It’s extremely easy to mistake the implantation bleeding for an ‘early period’ as many of the pre-menstrual symptoms, such as cramps, bloating and mood changes are present with pregnancy too. The difference with a period and an implantation bleed is the length of the bleeding, the colour of the blood loss and the heaviness of the blood flow. A period would normally last 4-7 days and be heavier, with a consistent flow of blood and darken to red. Implantation bleeding usually begins as brown or pink and remains extremely light.

How long does implantation bleeding last?

Implantation bleeding usually lasts around 1 -2 days, but can last anything from a few hours to spotting on and off for many days, and be extremely light, and stay light. As with everything, everyone is different, and a few women may feel that the implantation bleeding lasts as long as their period.

How long does implantation bleeding last?

The blood is usually brown or pink and is usually contained in a panty liner, rather than a sanitary pad. It is different from the darker red blood associated with a period, however many women begin their period with this type of blood loss and if they’re not expecting to be pregnant may mistake it for a period. Most women with implantation bleeding will feel that their period was early, very light and use words such as ‘spotting’. This ‘spotting’ may continue for 2-4 days in some women, and for those not expecting to be pregnant may simply mistake this for a ‘light’ period and think nothing else of it, until they miss their next period

Is implantation bleeding a sign of misscarriage?

Implantation bleeding is not a sign that there is anything wrong with the pregnancy and there are no links to implantation bleeding and miscarriage. If you do think that you may have had a lighter than normal menstrual period it’s probably a good idea to take a pregnancy test one week later. Not only will this confirm your pregnancy, it also lessens the chances of your midwife incorrectly calculating the date for your first scan and therefore limiting your access to certain screening tests that can be done.

Avengers infinity war post credit scene Explained !

Avengers post credit scene explained
Captain marvel

Avengers infinity wars

The end of Infinity War is very literally an end--the actual, genuine annihilation of half the universe at the hands of Thanos, armed with a fully powered Infinity Gauntlet. Not exactly the feel good, heroic, triumphant superhero vibe of Avengers past. Thanos has won, and from where we're sitting, it looks like his victory is absolute.
But all hope isn't lost. Though Infinity War deviates from Marvel's post-credits formula slightly by including only one stinger, rather than what's become the customary two, the movie's final moments give us the briefest glimpse of what's on the horizon

National super hero day
super hero day

Description National Superhero Day is for honoring both fictional superheroes and real-life superheroes—those who risk their lives to keep others safe. Both of these heroes are role models for children, and even for adults. The day was thought up by employees of Marvel Comics in 1995.

There are a countless number of fictional superheroes who are honored on the day, such as Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and Spiderman. But as a common phrase says, "not all heroes wear capes." Real-life heroes put themselves in harm's way, and in circumstances where they may risk their lives for others, just as their fictional counterparts do. Some of these heroes have careers that put them into these scenarios, such as members of law enforcement, military personnel, and firefighters. Other heroes may be everyday citizens who step up in moments of crisis and do extraordinary things. Other everyday people may not risk their lives, but may dress up as superheroes and help others on a daily basis. People from some charities, such as Love Your Melon, dress up as superheroes on the day and visit children's hospitals.

National Superhero Day is being observed today! It has been observed annually on April 28th since 1995.

How to Observe

Celebrate your favorite fictional superheroes today, as well as real-life ones who have helped or protected you or others from danger. On the fictional side, you could watch movies and read comics of your favorite superheroes. If you have children, you could help them dress up as superheroes, by helping them make a mask, cape, and cuffs. You could even dress up as a superhero yourself and help people in your neighborhood, or volunteer somewhere to help children. When it comes to real-life heroes, you could write a letter of thanks to someone who has protected yourself or others.

Discovering Earth-shaped planets with the potential of life

Geneva: Astronomers have discovered a planet of earth-shaped, favorable climate, at a distance of just 11 light years, whose parent is a calm star, and possibly, it may be the closest known place with the possibility of life.

A team working with the High Accuracy Radial Velocity Planet Surveyor (HARPS) in La Cilla Observatory, Chile, found that a low-mass planet rotates in the orbit of red dwarf stars' Ross 128 B on every ninth day.

It is believed that the Earth-shaped planet will be restrained and its surface can also be similar to the surface of the Earth. 'Ross 128 B' is the closest star.

Nikola Estudillo-DeFru from the University of Geneva in Switzerland said, "This discovery is based on intensive surveillance of HRPS over a decade, for which modern data collection and analysis techniques have been used."

The red dwarves are one of the coldest, dim stars in the universe. These qualities make them the best target of searching for astronomers.

Xavier Bonfils from the University of Grenoble in France said that it is easy to identify small cold planets similar to Earth around these stars compared to similar stars. Javier Astronomy and Astrophysics is the main author of the research published in the journal

Is Withdrawal method safe ?

Coitus interruptus, also known as 'withdrawal' or 'being careful' or 'getting out at an earlier station,' is still very widely used but is it safe?

What is withdrawal method
withrawal method of contraception
Withdrawal method

Coitus interruptus, also known as 'withdrawal' or 'being careful' or 'getting out at an earlier station,' is still very widely used , particularly among the teenage or young couple who don't wants to bother to go to medical shop or have less knowledge about sex education.
Some studies finding shows that withdrawal method is still used in countries like USA and Uk , now u can imagine situation in countries like India, which comes 2nd in population index
Quite a lot of young people still employ it sometimes – particularly when they get involved in a 'one-night stand' and don't have any condoms available.

Coitus interruptus is Latin for 'interrupted intercourse'. What happens is that the man pulls his penis out of the vagina just before ejaculation. Generally, this means that he 'shoots' onto the woman's thigh or abdomen. Although this is an unreliable method, it's certainly better than using nothing at all.

If you employ withdrawal every time, then at least you're doing something to avoid conception. But couples who rely solely on coitus interruptus do tend to have unwanted pregnancies

American studies have suggested a failure rate of 15 per cent to 28 per cent per year. Also, both the man and the woman can get very frustrated by having to keep interrupting things at the last moment.
Repeated intercourse: if you want to have intercourse again on the same night, the man should first go and pass urine (to flush out any sperms), and then wash his penis carefully to get rid of any seminal fluid.
The woman should also wash herself, if the man has ejaculated over her body. She needs to take care to wipe her partner's fluid away from her vulva.

Does it work?

So, as a method of contraception, it has a limited degree of success! However, doctors do not recommend it because:
  • it's easy to fail to withdraw early enough – so that the first squirt actually goes into the woman
  • there may perhaps be sperms present in the 'dew drop' of fluid that a man produces when he is excited, but well before he actually ejaculates.
That last point is currently a contentious one. For many years, doctors said that spermatozoa are present in the 'dewdrop'.
But a couple of small studies carried out in the last 20 years failed to demonstrate any sperms at all in the 'pre-come' droplet, and some doctors began saying that it could not cause pregnancy.
However, in 2011 an important research paper was published by fertility experts in Hull and Princeton, NJ. They tested 27 men, and found that 37 per cent of them had motile (active) sperms in their pre-ejaculate. The rest did not. So clearly, some males do have the potential to cause pregnancy with that first little dewdrop.
It has recently been theorised that sometimes the dewdrop could actually contain sperms from a previous ejaculation.

Psychological aspects

Coitus interruptus does usually lessen the pleasure of sex because the couple have to keep on thinking about the need for withdrawal.
And the female partner may well feel angry or unsatisfied about the fact that her man never 'comes' inside her. He too may feel frustrated, because of the fact that he mustn't ejaculate inside the woman.
However, withdrawing before ejaculation is undeniably an emergency solution that can be used by couples who wouldn't mind about a pregnancy or by those who feel that they really cannot employ any other kind of contraception.
In areas of the world where it's difficult to get contraceptives (for instance, war-torn countries) withdrawal has often proved fairly effective.
However, for people who have access to sensible, modern methods of contraception, coitus interruptus is a poor alternative. We do not recommend it.

YouTube kids to add parental control feature

YouTube kids to add parental control feature

Google says it will add new parental controls to its YouTube Kids app, after inappropriate videos were repeatedly discovered on the service.

Youtube kids parental control
youtube kids

Youtube kids in future going to add parental control feature. Which will let parents decide what there kids watch.

Parents will be able to choose between human-curated playlists and letting YouTube's algorithms decide what children get to watch in the app.

Children's presenter and parent Ed Petrie, who has hosted programmes for Nickelodeon and the BBC, asked: "Why are these features only an option.

'Ethical need'

"Nickelodeon shows don't have an option for your kids to stumble across an animation of SpongeBob SquarePants having his liver removed.
"YouTube just can't get their heads around the fact that when you're expressly providing content for kids, there is an ethical need for an actual human being viewing it with their eyes and ears before it gets inside a child's brain."
Children's charity NSPCC said the stricter controls were "encouraging" but "long overdue".
"Parents should have the confidence that a platform designed for children only shows appropriate content, and that videos which some children might find distressing or upsetting do not slip through the net," said a spokesman.

YouTube currently uses algorithms to decide which videos can appear on YouTube Kids.
Any video uploaded to the regular version of YouTube can theoretically appear on YouTube Kids if the company's algorithms judge it to be suitable. The company says its machine learning processes can take several days to evaluate a video.
However, inappropriate videos have repeatedly appeared on YouTube Kids. One, found by the BBC's Newsround programme, showed characters from children's cartoon Paw Patrol on a burning plane.

Settings optional

On Wednesday, YouTube announced plans to add three new settings to its Kids app.
These will let parents:
  • choose "trusted collections" that their children are allowed to watch, from brands such as Sesame Street
  • hand-pick every individual video and channel they are happy for their children to see, if they wish to do so
  • stop the app offering any videos from channels that have not been approved by a human moderator
Parents will be prompted to switch the settings on or off when setting up the app, but they will remain optional and will not all be released at the same time.

'Higher quality'

One parent has gone as far as setting up his own video app after becoming concerned that his children had been exposed to inappropriate content online.
Hugo Ribeiro, founder of video app kiddZtube, said: "YouTube is abusing an asset they have and not thinking enough about safety."
Rather than relying on algorithms, kiddZtube uses human moderators - four schoolteachers - to curate playlists and approve every video that appears in the app.
"We believe it's better to have fewer videos, with higher quality," he told the BBC.
The teachers also write quiz questions to accompany each video, to make watching a more interactive experience.

India's rapist saint/god man borned in pakistan

The making of India's rapist Saint -Asharam bapu

Asharan bapu in jail
Asharam bapu in custody

His childhood

It was the time immediately after partition of India. Thaumal Harpalani, who had come from Baranani village in Pakistan's Sindh province, had arrived in India with his wife Magegiiba and son Asmal. Like most Sindhi refugees, Thaumal and his family got shelter in the refugee settlement of Sardar Nagar. Thaumal started timber and coal business in Maninagar. Son Asumal also help his father. Later, the family also opened a grain shop in Kalupur.

His childhood

All had been returning to the track, that Asumal's father died. At that time, Asumal was only 10 years old. Now the responsibility of the house was on Asmal's shoulders. After running this responsibility for a few years, Asumal ran away from home at the age of 15. He reached in an ashram of Bharuch, which was run by Leelash Maharaj. After some time, Maharaj persuaded him and sent him home. However, after 8 years when Asumal was 23 years old, he once again left the house and reached the ashram.

Asmal become saint asaram bapu

It was the time of October 1964 and this time Lilasa Maharaj accepted Asumal and gave it the name of 'Saint Shri Asaram Bapu Maharaj'. 7 years later, in 1971, Asaram returned to Ahmedabad. Then her two children, Narayan Sai and Bharati Devi too were born. Asaram's spiritual discourse began to become popular among the tribal people of Panchmahal and Bharuch districts and the Hindi-speaking people of North India in Gujarat. In 1972 Asaram laid the foundations of 'Muksh Kitter' on the banks of the Sabarmati River. In a year, this cottage was turned into ashram.

Today there are about 400 ashrams in Asaram's empire in the country and abroad. The total wealth of this empire, which was prepared in four decades, is being estimated at Rs. 10 thousand crores. Asaram's property worth 750 crores is spread across 30 districts of Rajasthan. Every ashram of asaram is situated on 150 bighas of land. Asaram has complete convoy of cars and buses. 5 schools are running. Apart from this, shops are also running in every ashram.

The story began to change in 2008
The story of Asaram which has reached today was written in 2008. In July 2008, two young men named Dipesh and Abhishek Vaghela got coronavirus dead. Both of these youths were missing from Motera Ashram of Asaram. Such intelligence inputs that 'Kal Magic' is also being done in the ashram. The then Gujarat CM Narendra Modi constituted the Justice DK Trivedi Commission to investigate the matter. Five years later in August 2013, a 16-year-old minor accused Asaram of sexual assault in Jodhpur ashram.

In the same year Asaram's son Narayan Sai was also jailed on charges of rape with two sisters of Surat. Both of these sisters had alleged that in the middle of 2000, both father sons raped them together. After the matter came to light, the Asaram's empire began to collapse now. Slowly got many news. When the Surat police in January 2015, one of the followers of Asaram, in the house of Prhaldad Keswani, the Red Meri, in his real estate, got more than 2500 crores investment papers filled in 42 bags. According to the Gujarat Police's charge sheet, the total value of Asaram's empire was Rs 5000 crore in 2008.

Tell you that the Special Court of Jodhpur in the case of rap from a minor Dalit girl has been sentenced to life imprisonment while convicting Asaram. Judge Madhusudan Sharma, the Special Judge of the SC-ST Court, engaged in the Jodhpur Central Jail, sentenced the co-accused Shilpi and Sarat Chandra to 20-20 years imprisonment while releasing the other two Prakash and Shiva.
