Every year 25 April is celebrated as liberation day in Italy. The day marks the end of end of Mussolini regime after the end of second world war in 1945. This day is to remember and commemorates the people who died fighting the fascist leader of Italy, Mussolini.

Mussolini was an Italian politician and journalist who was the leader of National Fascist Party. He ruled italy from 1922 to 1943. He ruled constitutionally as a prime minister of italy until 1925 when he ends democracy and establish the dictatorship in Italy.

25 april is the sign of uprising and winning the battle between a fascist forces and common people. It was in 1943 that the italian resistance movement gathered steam. About 2 lac people joined movement which include sizeable amount of female while men are in compulsion to join movement while women joins voluntarily. Women played a significant role in in movement , defeating the fascist forces of italy with the help of allied forces which invaded italy and freed the people of italy from fascist rule.

25 april is declared national holiday in Italy . There will be  huge celebration in Italy on thi day.
Parades are taken out, bands performance on streets and concerts are also organized all over the country to celebrate italian libration day.
Political rallies will also take place on 25 which remembers the death of people died during the italian resistance movement.

Following the useful contribution of women in the Liberation Movement of Italy, the end of the fascist regime also marked the foray of women in politics in Italy. Thus, the Liberation Day of Italy also saw a major reform in Italian politics which continues to this day.
